Banner Community Program
The Allegheny League of Municipalities, in conjunction with Allegheny County and program sponsor HRG Engineering, is pleased to announce that we are now accepting applications for the 2025 Banner Community Program. Honored municipalities and authorities distinguish themselves as model communities through their commitment to sustainable practices including professional development, intergovernmental cooperation, sound fiscal management and proactive communications to engage community stakeholders. Last year’s program was a huge success and resulted in 81 communities earning the Banner Community designation.
A special recognition luncheon at the Spring Educational Conference was joined by County Executive Sara Innamorato to recognize program participants. In addition, through a partnership with HRG Engineering and Allegheny County, Banner Community designees were eligible for registration scholarships to the Spring Educational Conference held in April 2024.

Please note the deadline for the 2025 program. In an effort to allow designees to better utilize their Banner Community Scholarships at the 2025 Spring Educational Conference, applications may be submitted at any time from now until the deadline of November 26, 2024.
