ALOM Annual Compensation & Benefits Report
As part of ALOM’s mission to foster local government and to provide essential resources to our local government stakeholders. ALOM is currently in the process of collecting survey data to prepare our Annual Compensation & Benefits Report. In addition to being a timely and critical personnel resource to compare salaries and benefits packages with other municipalities in Southwestern Pennsylvania, participation in the Compensation & Benefits survey is also a core competency for the ALOM Banner Community Program.
Information on completion of the Compensation & Benefits Survey has been sent to the designated contact that ALOM has on record for your municipality. Please consult your municipal staff as to if they received this survey. If you need to update your municipal contact records, or would like to request access to the survey, please call our office at 412-261-2521 and reference the Compensation & Benefits Survey.
The deadline for survey completion is June 28, 2019. The completed Compensation & Benefits Report will be published in Fall of 2019, and is only provided to those municipalities who completed the survey.
In September 2018, ALOM distributed the 2018 Compensation & Benefits (Wage & Salary) Report to participating members. Efforts were taken to enhance the publication by continuing the online submission component, adding additional visual aids and creating electronic access for users.
The Compensation & Benefits Report is a valuable document for municipal budget planning – and ALOM encourages all municipalities who did not participate in the 2018 Compensation & Benefits Survey to consider doing so in 2019 in order to be provided with this critical resource.
