Thank you to all of the municipalities that participated in the 2018 Banner Community Program.
This year’s program was a huge success and resulted in a record 55 communities earning the Banner Community designation. These municipalities earned the designation of a Banner Community by distinguishing themselves as model communities through a commitment to sustainable practices including professional development, intergovernmental cooperation, sound fiscal management and proactive communications to engage community stakeholders.
In 2019, the program has been expanded to include municipal authorities. We appreciate your support of our association, and encourage your community to seek the Banner Community Designation this year.
The application reflects efforts undertaken by a municipal government during the 2018 calendar year. Applications may be submitted at any time from now until the deadline of January 31, 2019. Please contact our office with any questions: 412-261-2521 or firstname.lastname@example.org
