The Banner Community Program had another record breaking year with a total of 55 communities receiving Banner Community Status in 2018. ALOM recognizes these communities as ones that demonstrate a dedication to professional development, prudent fiscal management, transparency, accountability and proactive communications.
The 55 Banner Communities will be announced and recognized on March 23 at an event and luncheon presented in partnership with Allegheny County and engineering firm Herbert, Rowland & Grubic (HRG).
Additionally, all awarded municipalities will have an opportunity to win scholarships to the 2019 Spring Educational Conference. Stay tuned for the announcement of the 2018 Banner Communities!
