Every spring for over 40 years, local elected and appointed officials in and around Allegheny County flock to one place for the most thorough and relevant professional development opportunities available to those who represent the interests of local government. The ALOM Spring Educational Conference is an event that has become a staple for many council members, township supervisors, local mayors and municipal managers.
This event has grown its attendance by over 30% since 2016 and this year trends are in the same direction. Special conference features such as the Women in Leadership Networking event, a special EMS Summit and a Strategic Session on Building Partnerships with Public Utilities will all occur, in addition to confirmed attendance by Lt. Governor John Fetterman and many other local leaders and dignitaries. A full schedule of educational programming can be found here.
The event also will feature a sold out exhibit hall, networking opportunities, and legislative discussions. Don’t miss this marquee event for local government in Southwestern Pennsylvania! Click here for registration information!
